  • I think the other review is unduly harsh, though that's not to say this is some otherworldly Zin. It's completely one-dimensional, simple, and certainly not something you'd go out of your way for, but it's perfectly reasonable for a quick PnP to go with a midweek pizza dinner. It's a very ruby red in color with very little legs to speak of. Nose of candied cherries, lots of jam & prune, and berries, with a hint of licorice. Palate is fruit, fruit, and more fruit, all jam and cherry; to be honest it does wear on you a bit. No acidity, no tannins, very little body, 2 second finish. Like I said, it's ok, but not god-awful.

  • Not a good wine...has that expected Lodi taste, soft and rich, but also has an ugly medicinal edge to it, or is it metallic.
