I drank this bottle undecanted tonight with chicken breast, potatoes in a cream sauce, and broccoli. I bought a couple of cases of this wine quite a few years ago, and just recently found this bottle tucked in a cupboard by a maid who has no sense of where anything goes. Rich and dark of the nose, with barnyard and mushrooms, opening up into roses, becoming sweeter. Dark currants on the mid palate, some alcohol, but very pleasing overall. Tannins are still present but have receded. Finish is above average for what one would expect for a $15 bottle. The preceding review predicts this will fall apart in the next year or so. It has been my experience with wines at this price point that 10 years or so is pretty much the limit for drinkability. However, this wine shows no signs of it's age, with strong fruit and consistent color to the rim. Brookie gives it a rare "can't live without it" rating. A very good showing.

Really smooth and well balanced aged Bordeaux with notes of cherries, plums, chocolate, earth. A little mellow but still drinking really well.
