Showing surprisingly well. Full bodied, tropical fruits on the nose, a little heat on the finish. Oaky flavors of vanilla, honey, ripe stone fruit and pineapple. Very easy to like.

Much better than the last bottle, the wine looks youthful (surprisingly) straw in color, nose of reductive fruit and vegetables blew of into a honey laden mix of ripe stone fruit and orange blossom. The wine is full bodied, with the fruit acid fading and the sugar starting to show a bit more. Flavors of honeysuckle, white peaches, and vanilla are all in balance. A really well made white, but I'd imagine it all comes down to bottle variance at this point in the wine's life.

Took the wine a bit of time to open. I also thought that the wine benefited being a bit cooler than normal serving temperature, it seemed to keep the wine a bit more "tight" and in focus.
Notes of honey, dried apricots, and lemon on the nose. Smelled great, a bit oxidized as expected. But for a 9 year old white, I'd say it's trucking along nicely...
In the mouth, the wine has a syrupy feel, very unctuous. Notes of canned peaches and other stone fruits. A bit spicy, nutmeg, vanilla, and oak. Getting a little disjointed and sweet-flabby at the finish. A really nice wine, but I feel that it has been in it's descent for a couple of years now. I would have loved to have had this a few years ago- would have been a stunner for sure.

Probably held this one too long, fruit was diminished but it still was enjoyed.
