Similar note except that this really has rounded up nicely. There's plentiful fruit and also the structure to back it up. Fortunately the coffeeish oak has faded quite a bit. Finely balanced and thoroughly enjoyable fruitforward Gevrey. Nice!
Cherry, raspberry and strawberry nose showing nuances of herbs (thyme), smoke, green pepper, leather and coffee. Medium bodied and quite meaty feel. There's good acidity carrying the red and dark berries through the palate. Some minerality as well as coffeeish oak notes that need to integrate some more. Still too young but will probably drink nicely in a couple of years.
