Christmas dinner wine. Straight class. Only medium body and doesn't have the soft entrance of many vouvrays. Leaner and more true to the vintage. Brilliant, clear acid. Mouthwatering. Long finish. Totally primary. From mag. Will retaste later/tmrw.

Outrageously balanced. Gorgeous, opulent spiced fresh pear, apple, and lemon cream are perfectly balanced by searing citrus acidity. Medium bodied and wonderfully textured, with a gorgeous melange of granite, slate, and chalk. Dried herbs, white flowers, and apricot add to the finish. Outstanding now, though also with promise in the cellar. Drink or hold.

Rich nose and flavors indicates some bottle age, well balanced with a lingering finish. Excellent.
