I've never had a "sweet" version of the Foreau Vouvray this old. At 21 it still seems young, and has a luscious nutty nose. It's taste is long. It is exceptionally balanced, and mellow, but in many ways not a sweet wine, because of the underlying tartness. Its sugars are certainly muted. The grapefruity, apricoty fruit flavors are soft.
