  A little underwhelming to be honest. I was expecting a lot more complexity and development at this stage but the wine was a little one dimensional. A very modern and extracted style as displayed by the color density of a 14 year old wine. Plenty of fruit on the nose and palate complemented by judicious oak. Some classic bramble and cedar notes but really had to look for it. Not a bad wine, but not what I'm looking for in an aged Bordeaux.
  
  Perhaps this wine is a bit closed down. I didn't get much different/more on day 2. Seems others have had a better experience.

  Dark fruits, dusty and chalky plush mouthfeel. Some black tea and balsamics creeping in. Medium bodied, medium acidity. Dusty tannins. Overall a fairly smooth and balanced wine. Bit of herbal character on the finish. Nice wine.

  Working my way through 8 bottles. Nice wet rags on nose, rich, nice fruit, long finish, plenty of tannins, needs decant.

  Super souple et bien fruité.
  Des cerises, du cèdre et un peu de chocolat.
  Les tannins sont bien enrobés et
  la finale bien longue est toute en finesse.
