Funny, I saw this in a local shop and I was in the market for a decent white in 375ML. Then I saw i had this 9 years ago. CT is pretty damn cool. Fully mature, rich, decent drink but consume soon I would think.

(MONTMAINS Louis Michel) Chablis Deal Dear Friends, We get a large number of requests for half bottles, and we rarely carry them, so take note... This wine isn’t going to save the world but it is just what the doctor ordered for a summer picnic or afternoon on the terrace (or just about anything you can think of where the occasion is relaxed and without pretense). There’s not much to say with this wine - it is from 100% Montmains 1er fruit (instead of the usual blend of 3-4 different terroirs bottled as Montmains) and it drinks well now or should improve over the next few years. If you are looking for a stash of half-bottles to open out any night of the week, this is a top deal: We have a terrific price on this wine, about the same as in France ONE SHIPMENT ONLY At this price with perfect provenance directly from the source: 2005 Louis Michel Chablis 1er “Montmains” (375ml) Please give us your maximum number up to 12/person and we will allocate accordingly Thank you, Jon Rimmerman Garagiste Seattle, WA Burg7377

Drinking more advanced than I care for, with a level of oxidization that while still drinkable, makes this less than stellar for me.

Nice. Drinking quite well. But not typical Chablis. On the tropical and lush side. Not very minerally or steely.

From .375 with screw cap. A little bit tropical on the palate, with a flinty finish. Just OK. Hit its sweet spot in 2009.

Nice, and with good body weight and richness, but almost Meursault-like rather than a more minerally/salinic style I was expecting.
