i think people are way harsher on cellertrackerr than any critic is on wine. this was good if not a bit more jammy than what i've tasted in younger vintages. still very aromatic and nice acidity. just a tad too jammy for me to be fun.

Dark, almost black. Sharp acidity that mellowed out with a few minutes in the glass. Sulferous nose blew off off leaving Cote-Rotie-llike smoky bacon. Cranberry and sour cherry. Coarse tannins. Nice try, but a little rough.

Dark purple. Blackberry and pepper on nose. Palate showed firm tannins with plenty of backberry fruit and spice showing through. Not particularly fat, but the acidity seemed light. Still with unresolved tannins, this will go for several years as there's lots of fruit.

Inky purple in color. Nose of black fruit & disel/alcohol. Sweet & chewy blackberry fruit upfront with smooth oak & tannins and a medium finish.
