  Served along with two Bordeaux wines from the same vintage, and I was sure it was a Bordeaux, more precisely a Pessac! A great wine anyway. Hefty aromas with leather, tobacco and eucalyptus.

  The CT notes on this wine are either very positive or sort of neutral. Some members loved this wine while others found it “average”. I would join the latter group. The wine is in good shape and without flaws, just average and I would have expected much more from such a wine. I drank it over 3 days and it improved moderately. Just people’s different taste for wine or maybe bottle variations?

  My first experience with this wine. Quite pretty and elegant on the palate, medium body, still youthful -- it seemed like it was still slightly closed, probably would have benefitted from a little bit more air, and surely will continue to become more expressive with time in the bottle. Very good.
