This wine is SO good. PnP. Near-opaque ruby/purple. Beginning of an orange rim. Medium+ body. Spice is the first taste, and it last through an incredibly long finish. Plum/prune with strong cherry/raspberry. Very enjoyable.

Popped and Poured, smooth and soft in the mouth. Slight tannic bite on the end. Sturdy wine that held up to a seasoned pork tenderloin. Hint of pepper that worked with the pork, then the dark fruit came through to wash down the pork. No rush to drink but, why not?

Last of 2 bottles, consumed the first one 3 years ago. This is a delicious and complete Sonoma County Syrah, Carlisle is brilliant at crafting these yummy, full-textured, complex yet inviting wines that age nicely and are a whole lotta WFTM. Drink this beauty now through 2025 or so, it is humming.

My first of two. Delicious mature Syrah drunk with Instapot babyback ribs. Big fruit flavor profile with licorice and smoke. Happy too have another.
