  • So pure. A gem of a wine that lets the traditional grape flow through without the mask of toasted oak. I feel like I am sitting in the vineyard while drinking this gem. A bit early but still fantastic

  • Just had this two weeks ago. Had to show it to another friend. Same blueberry nose with pepper midpalate. My favorite napa cab hands down. Can't say enough good things about this producer.

  • Decanted for an afternoon. Had with steak. Drinking window is starting. Pepper and some medium berry fruit followed by darker berries. So against the grain of low acid high oak n fruit napa cab its hard to believe. Excellent wine. Corison stuck to their guns picking a month earlier n before overripeness and it shows. Love them.

  • Full disclosure. I am a fan of Corison. If you want to get kicked in the face this wine is not for you. opened and poured after 30 minutes in bottle. Pours lovely, clear and clean, antique ruby clear at the rim. Enjoyed with an unpolluted palate. Found earth and dirt, fruit hard to define. I appreciate that an 08 Corison exhibits an understated old worldliness. On the nose I detect dill. Cherry soaked leather towards the end of glass one. Tannins, acid balanced. Length medium- at best. Spent 3 hrs at sportsbook drinking Green Flash IPA watching UK Basketball. Left the bottle opened on the counter. Returned to find the demure thing I had abandoned several hours earlier had been replaced by a full figured ,arrogant sassy Southern Belle. Smooth. Fruit overtaking Oak. Acid increasing. Length +. Did I say smooth.
