  Getting a little long in the the tooth but in some ways more drinkable now. Not an in your face cab., more velvety and approachable. Served with crusted boursin cheese appetizer and people raved about the combination. Drink it sooner rather than later. Wish I had more.

  Fully developed and ready to go. Texturally heavy with loads of syrupy, ripe, and reduced blue/black fruit. Cassis liqueur, anise, sage, and granite. A bit improvement over the 2006. Drink in the next 5 years (at peak now).

  Dark garnet to purple color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of pepper, currants and black berries. Flavors of black cherries, black berries, currants and plums. Medium acidity, medium to firm tannin, full bodied. Drink with air or hold.
