This wine was in a "pretty" place as we drank it. Very balanced with floral notes to compliment a core of dark fruit. Served to guests at a dinner party and all of them complimented the wine (which I am glad when folks notice a decent bottle).
Just boring. Good fruit and dark in line with prior tasting notes. There was just not much there to make a statement. I suggest Paul Hobbs go back to the drawing board and take more risks to create a more unique wine. Frankly, the lack of a distinct taste is disconcerting. Take some chances and make something great.
