  Surprisingly good with grilled sausages and other fare at this advanced age. Many Zins are well on their way downhill after ~15 years of age. I guess I cellared it properly.

  Still good color and great raspberry-Zinfandel nose. Flavors, however, come up a bit short. Drink soon.

  Opened this older wine for cooking. Has lost some of the structure and fruit forward character of this wine. Wish I had enjoyed this last bottle while still in its prime.

  Removed from Bin 8 North. Rummuli Dean’s, Mike, Pam and Aline. Full blackberry nose. Dark purple. Full body chewy stone currant finish. 8/10.
