Drank over 10 hours, this is typical Napa, very fruit forward nose, dark fruited, after 4 hours get intense bramble on the nose. Upon first opening get black cherry, blackberry, dates. After a couple of hours dried fruit flavors emerge, get some raspberry as well, this was quite tannic and had a nice mild-moderate acidity. After 10 hours it was still quite tannic with the aforementioned fruit flavors. Was very nice and seems to have a long life ahead of it.

Big Napa fruit nose. Juicy, full of dark fruit, blackberry, licorice and sweet tannic backbone. Loads of life left, acidity strong and good finish. Huge wine, lush and fruit forward. Did not evolve much over 2 hours.

I was a bit worried based on other notes that this was past its prime, but I was very impressed by my bottle. Opened and started consuming at cellar temp and it obviously warmed up a little, but I found this to be really impressive. Still quite dark and rich, with a mix of plum and raspberry and some darker fruits, and a great balance of fine but present tannins and acid. Sadly, I have no more, but if I did, I would plan to drink it sooner (next 12-18 months) but I wouldn't be in a rush. A very nice surprise!

A perfect wine to end a busy week. No need to decant. Drinking great PnP. At peak and plenty of life left in my view.
Slightly better on day 2. Very well balanced Cabernet. Enough of everything you want in a Napa Cab.
