I found this to be a very interesting wine. You must decant for at least an hour. Very tight and disappointing to start. However after 90 minutes of decanting the wine opened up - blackberries and fruit started to shine. Very unique, but overall a little disappointing for Viader.
Incredibly disappointing for a Viader label - tight on the palate, very little complexity. High acidity, limited fruit and slightly sour. Decanting helped but the wine never really tasted like it was developing. Cheaper and much better tempranillo can be found from Spain.
