  Medium ruby with no browning at the edge. I would describe this wine as 'exhuberant,' but not big, or California Pinot-esque. Medium bodied with layers of flavors and nicely balanced. I wish I had more. No hurry here.

  (in magnum) still lots of fruit for this. A bit resinous in the onset but became a nice well rounded wine after an hour. Threw a bit of sediment in the end. Excited to see how other 2008's show!

  Tasted blind at a picnic: pure, deeply dark fruited with a vegetal tone leaving half of us guessing Cabernet Sauv; solid wine but nothing characteristic of PN.
