Glass: Riedel Vinum Riesling 1 Glass poured with Coravin. Clear, light and pale yellow color, almost watery, no signs of ageing. Medium intense, very elegant nose with lovely notes of exotic and green fruits, some slate, no signs of petrol. Dry, with some residual sugar. I was really surprised as this is the first 2009 GG I tasted which is not bold, broad and ripe. Instead it is quite elegant and fragile. You really have to concentrate and focus on the wine but then it shows its beauty: a bunch of exotic, Tropical fruit combined with stone fruit, lots of minerality, good acidity. Low alc (12,5% abv), medium intense and a long, soft lingering finish. A shy Beauty! Has years ahead and will certainly improve.

Honey and and tropical fruit on the nose. Medium bodied, dry, rather fruity, showing ripe yellow fruit and some mineral/funky notes. Very good.

Young. Too sweet for my palate. Limeade orientation. Give this 5-7 years.....

Almost consistent with my last note. A bit muted. Needs air and time.
