A very good wine, and a good bargain. Berries, smoke and some shoe leather. Dark deep red/ purple. There is still fruit as well as earthy tones. Nice balance.

Very dark colour. The nose gave away some age (tertiary notes) but also dark barries. On the palate quite a tannin bite as well as som acidity despite its age. Very surprising. Blackberries a little bit in the background, but a bit "powdery" or earthy. In a good way, though. Some describe this as a modern style. I disagree, since I find this to be a very tightly structured classic style, which does not succumb to the drinking preferences of the West. Surprisingly high quality for this supposedly modest wine. An everydaywine in my cellar for sure!

Dark garnet in color. Day 1 - this was really bad, very earthy little to no fruit almost bland to the taste buds. Day 2 - getting blacberry onthe nose along with a nice earthiness that seems to enhance the fruit. Palate is interesting has blackberry, some spice and a huge earthiness, tannins kick in on the finish along with the earthy taste. A little too earthy for me, would like the fruit to linger around a bit longer.

Unbelievable value at $10.49. All the makings of a very good Cotes du Rhone from palate to finish.
