  Coravin, no decant.
  
  Rather restrain on nose, cedar/oak, old leather,
  
  On the palate- POW! Good acidity up front, followed by massive red fruit, coffee, pepper, mocha. Dark chocolate bitterness and red berries round out the finish which lingers for a solid 40 seconds. Fine and integrated tannins. A touch of heat.
  
  Flavorful for sure, especially for Barossa Shiraz lovers, but just a bit too much for me. Good balance considering the alcohol level.

  Deep ruby color, nose of stone fruit, drank smooth with good balance and hints of vanilla and black cherry. I think this will imporve with another 3-5 years on its back.
