Very good berry bouquet with hints of cherry. True full flavor and character came out after eating steak with it. Not quite as good as the reserve but a solid medium dry zin

This is a big, full-bodied New World Zinfandel that needs time to breathe before it shows its full potential. The nose matures from paint to berry to chocolate over the course of a few hours. When at its peak after the first hour it has mild blue fruit up front with a silky middle of vanilla that accelerates into a long finish of dark chocolate and welcome tannins. I feel this could hold up a year or two more in the cellar quite easily. Even after 3 hours or more the nose is a gorgeous milk chocolate and very expressive on the palate. I'll keep the next one for a few more years to see what it has to offer down the road.

Very fruity still. Now is the time to drink. Keystones are just beginning. To show up initially. Need to drink the rest in 2016

Tannins have softened, leaving the brilliant fruit and peppery finish that goes well with steak. Glad I have more set aside!

Cinnamon, cassis on the nose. Dark almost brick in color. Vanilla and leather. Nice balance. Very good, not great.
