Beautiful coppery color but not very oxidized or advanced. Frankly, I had trouble getting anything of interest out of this. Glad to have tried one with this kind of age but I think I prefer this wine in its youth unlike ageable roses like Simone or Musar.

Bright peachy orange. Speciale is right, this wine tastes like a very light savory red wine, but has the texture and grip of a white. Enjoyed with orange mustard chicken, great as an apertif.

(Clos Cibonne Tibouren Côtes de Provence Cuvée Spéciale des Vignettes) Light medium pink orange color; intriguing, intense, cantaloupe, dried orange, orange, orange oil nose; slightly oxidized, lightly oily textured, dry, tart orange, tart orange cream, mineral, kumquat palate; medium-plus finish (fermented in stainless steel and then aged under "fleurette," like the flor on sherry, in 100-year-old 500-litre foudres; pricey at about $30, but a fascinating wine based on a nearly extinct varietal; would be a particularly good pairing with paella, Provencal fish dishes, and dishes in which green olives play an accent role)

This bottle seemed a little tired, I am advancing the drinking date of the remaining bottle. Somewhat fresher second day.
