Light golden color Crisp golden apples, plump pear in nose Taste: sumptuous rip fruit, nuts, good acid balance. Very rich, caramel, surprising fro an SB! Very long lingering tart apple overtones, long finish.

Creamier style of SB. Doesn't have either the cat pee or new-mown hay that some people demand in the varietal. Still quite clearly Sauvignon Blanc. Color has darkened a bit to gold from the pale slightly green-hinted wine I remembered. Rather weighty on entry. Nice mouthfeel. Low in acidity to a varietal fault but the creamy quality of the fruit is a valid/pleasant expression. Decent length. All in all a well-made wine that needs to be consumed now.

Did not have enough acidity for a Sauvy but it went well with the white sauce pasta
