Clearly a Pinot Noir. Nose is Pinot but mouth is a little tame. Fruit but no earth. Nice little Pinot and the last bottle will be good, if I drink it soon. Not too much life left

Popped and passed thru vinturi. Color brick red. Nose mostly stewed vegetables and etoh w some cherry tobacco. Palate mostly sweetish secondary and vegetal but soft and pretty smooth on palate. If I had more would plan on drinking very soon I don't see the structure that might allow positive evolution and already marginal

No formal note - This one suffered from comparison with the Peregrine from Central Otago drank earlier. Just an OK pinot, but there seems to be too much oak that remains in the mouth after every sip which tends to kill the fruit and lacks a bit of acidity.

Beautiful nose, but doesn't deliver as promised on the palate. Tastes a bit metallic; finishes with red fruit and earth. Nice one for the price point though.

(Oyster Bay Pinot Noir) #2; COLOR-medium/dark; NOSE-great nose; classic Pinot; some smokiness (like vanilla tobacco dip); a little cherry; PALATE-good body on this Pinot; a little oomph and more weight; not Burgundian - more of an Oregon style; nice polish; good medium body; finishes strong; a little high in the alcohol; solid Pinot; good structure and balance; nice cherries; a little kirsch; GUESSING $15; GV-89
