Concentrated It smells like blackberry, blueberry, forest floor, mushroom, toast and chocolate. It tastes like blackberry, blueberry, black currant (cassis), forest floor, mushroom, toast, oak, clove and chocolate. Long finish.

Wow! What a surprise, I was expecting a medium wine but this was bold, brazen Syrah that is tamed unlike its Australian counterparts. So delicate of blackberries, pepper, mint, leather (in a nice way), toast, dried herbs and great mouthfeel finish. Not long but enough for you to go back and take another sip.

I can see I drank this wine 2 years ago. And it hasn't improved. Maybe the opposite. The lack of tannins has left the wine in rapid decline. It started out beautifully. Good fruit, black currants. Somewhat weak but a nice glass. But after a while it sort of died. So drink up.

Very fruity and powerful wine, and then! Something missing. Dark berries, leather, funk and very dominant liquorice. Not very sweet and goes well with powerful food. But I think the missing part was tannins. Good fruit but I don't see this wine live much longer. Unfortunately.

Nose: lavender Palate: blended fruit, smooth, it went well with chile con carne and with berries, a wonderful wine.
