(Domaine Huet Vouvray Le Mont Sec) Classic nose, led by aromas of wet wool and crumbled, chalky rocks, with a prominent cordite, gunflint-like note as well. Firm, structured, and quite grippy on the palate. Strong, peppery, tingly acidity which would keep this wine going for some time in the cellar. Medium bodied, with more mineral and stone fruit flavour. Clean finish, good length.
