Cosentino used to be one of my favorites from Napa, and I had been saving this for a while. Overall, the bottle was good but perhaps a little disappointing given the price point.

This is classy and fun at the same time. Took a little while to come around maybe 2-3 hour decant. score would be higher if it had more nose, a bit muted. This has that gorgeous fruit, caramel, vanilla, burnt creme pie, but what sets this cab blend apart is it fresh acidity, minerality, and femininity. This is very Pinot-like, a freshness and vigor comes through that is often lost in Napa red. Bravo, to Mitch Cosentino and Co. for a fine effort, really pretty.

CORKED but drank it anyway since it was $150 shows alot of refinement, cult cab taste, a little pinotish on finish really strange at first but got better as night went on will reserve rating for next bottle

Huge Napa fruit. Black cherry, currants, anise, black pepper, long finish. Huge nose.
