Big luscious and semi-sweet, raspberry, chocolate, soil, spice. Rich, a bit high in alcohol. Tasty, fruity, lustful. Good flavor all the way through though. Could lose some oak and heat. Enjoyed with Christmas dinner along with a Vouvray and Syrah.

VLG Does Pinots Blind (Jason Hagen's office): Served blind. Big sweet nose with some chalk and heat. Soft black cherry palate that is very sweet and a bit hot. I guess the wine maker dropped by to give this one 100 in another note. lol!

Very good. Had a bottle at the tasting room in October 2010 and it still very good. Very tasty and fruity. A bit of sweetness tops off the finish.

VLG - Random Pinots Served Blind (Brea, CA): Served blind. Cola, caramel, black raspberries, and black cherries. Rich palate but a little syrupy.

VLG Does Pinot Blind ... No Parameters (The Home Office): Served blind.
Pretty shameful that someone on CT gave this 100 points. Not a bad wine but surly not that memorable. Needs a number of years in the bottle.
