Great stuff. With grilled t-bone steak, callalou, roasted vegetables. This is classic Napa Cab, right in the zone of maturity. Opened very laid back, not redolent of anything much, but blossomed in the glass. Perfect food companion. Not overdone, oak helps to round out the dark fruited palate, developing some secondaries but this seems strongly a play for well-matured fruit supported by savory and earthy flavors. These fly under the radar, so absolutely a stunning deal.

From magnum, similar to previous notes. Oodles of class, especially for the price. Really nice fruit, traditional in style, some dryness on the finish - classy and a silly bargain at $60 plus tax for the magnum. A crowd-pleaser cab for sure.

Thought this might be past its prime, but still has great fruit and is in a good place. On the palate, distinct black cherry. Ready to enjoy

Dark ruby. Blood orange, meat juices, and forest floor on the nose. Delicious notes of bay leaf, blood orange, and boysenberry. Absolutely delicious.
