Great wine which has aged beautifully. Lovely fruit with flavour development. Leather, soft fruit. Lovely mouthfeel. Could have drunk the whole bottle by myself easily.

Evening all. I opened 3 bottles of this with some friends in anticipation of a two and a half week trip to South Africa. It was just a beautiful wine. Lovely sweet fruit. it has aged brilliantly. The best thing was I had forgotten I had it. Looking forward to drinking the rest of it. Just an additional comment! We visited the Ken Forrester winery while in Cape Town. Fantastic wines particularly the FMC which is made from old bush vines - Chenin Blanc. Fabulous.

strong showing. fully mature with enough backbone left for the next 5-7 years. seductive nose (see previous notes), very fine tannins, fully integrated patate. long stable finish (20 Caudalie).

Kanonkop, perfect, classic, 14years young, ruby red, bargain at any price, drink it now to enjoy, perfect with a bottle of Paul Sauer 1998, if you can get it !!!!! Just very good and true to Kanonkop, verbal accolades not sufficient to describe a near perfect red. Drinking graph inspires / fosters confidence!! Well done...once again..And by the way, it pairs with any good food! Dr B von Finckenstein, KP 1142 Seconded DK Brown, KP 1141, QBE
