  • I had an interesting first encounter with this wine when I tasted it blind in a Cote d'Or/Burgundy tasting. By mistake, this bottle ended up blind on the table and caused some hefty discussions. Fun part was that no-one discredited the wine, in effect it got loads of praises (apart from that it was unusual or non-typical).
So it doesn't taste like a burgundy, but it does provide you with lots of elegance, structure and charm. The length is not exceptionally long, but then again, this is an entry level wine. And as an entry level wine it is just marvelous to me! Lots of fruit, but with structure of tanins and acidity. Elegant, yet firm, with enough complexity to keep this wine interesting. Only minus is the really cheap new label on the bottle.
