I can't remember the last time I went 2 for 2 on an older white Burg with premox; this bottle was maybe just a bit ahead of the last, but still fresh and delicious; ripe peach, pear, sweet lemon, a hint of spice, honey suckle, and then some mineral notes that open up. Excellent depth and really nice energy on the palate; paired with lobster tails with herbed butter; really good.

Wasn't sure if this would be good as I was worried it would be oxidized; thankfully it wasn't and this was brilliant! The nose initially had a bit of oak still, this blew off to reveal some tropical fruits of mango and papaya alongside ripe apple and pear, some minerality and honeysuckle; with more air, the tropical fruit mostly faded leaving just a barely noticeable hint alongside ripe orchard fruits and floral notes; the palate was initially a bit stiff, but also opened and blossomed and showed very good depth, great energy, and a long finish. Hope the other bottle I picked up is this good.

Very disappointing! Completely premox for a bottle which I paid over $200 per bottle. Unacceptable - no wonder I now only buy white burgs with less than 10 years of age. Figure out the premox issue white burgundy producers!

Premox again. With rare exceptions, I do not buy any white burg with more than 6-7 years old. Premox is a serious problem.

This surprised me on the upside. I "really liked" it, while most of the table "liked" it. I'd drink anytime with pleasure.
