  • Clear, pale lemon colour.
Pronounced intensity aromas of citrus (lemon), stone fruit (nectarine), tropical fruit (pineapple), oak (vanilla), mlf (cream), tertiary development (honey, nuts, smoke, struck match). The wine is developing.
The palate is dry with medium acidity, full body, rich and creamy, medium (+) alcohol, pronounced intensity flavours of lemon, nectarine, vanilla, cream, nuts, wet stones. The finish is long.
Oak much better integrated in this final bottle of the case although still more noticeable than ideally I would like. Particularly enjoyed this bottle however.

The wine is very good in quality although the oak is not as well integrated as it would be for a truly outstanding wine. Still very fresh and has potential for further ageing. No sign at all of oxidation.

  • The wine is clear and pale lemon in colour.
The nose is clean with pronounced intensity aromas of citrus (lemon), stone fruit (nectarine), tropical fruit (pineapple), oak (vanilla), mlf (butter), bottle development (honey, nuts). The wine is developing.
The palate is dry with medium acidity, full body, rich and creamy, medium (+) alcohol, pronounced intensity flavours of lemon, nectarine, vanilla, butter, nuts. The finish is long.
The wine is very good in quality. It has pronounced intensity flavours and complexity from primary, secondary and tertiary development. The acid and fruit are in balance, but the oak is a but too dominant and gives it a pronounced sweetness. If it integrates with time, the wine will be outstanding.
The wine can be drunk now but is suitable for further ageing (3-5 years). It has the fruit supported by the acid and oak structure necessary to age further and develop tertiary flavours.

  • Tropical fruit, pineapple aromatics but then medium body, dry and quite mineral in the mouth. A bit of oak toast comes through. Pretty zingy and not at all too ripe. Good.
