The wine offered a fresh, tropical nose with some floral notes, pineapple, lychee, passionfruit, mango, green apple and ripe gooseberry as well as mildly herbal and vegetal notes, straw, butter, some vanilla, a mild spiciness and a mineral touch. On the palate the wine showed pineapple, mango, passionfruit, a hint of lychee, tangerine, ripe gooseberry, butter, some smoke and a hint of vanilla, paired with high, lively acidity, a good, buttery mouthfeel and very good length. The oak was well-integrated. The balanced, medium-bodied wine drank well and also paired well with white asparagus. We liked it; would buy again. 90+
Golden straw colour. As already mentioned, green apple really hits out on the nose, it's still fairly steely, stony and chalky, but after some time in the glass, the richer tropical and peach notes start to dominate. The acidity still really bites on the palate with bright apricot and stone fruit, with an undertone of vanilla and oak and a lingering citrusy finish. Concentrated but not complicated, very enjoyable. ****
Beautiful pale gold color, fresh nose of pineapple, green apple, and citrus. Nice acidity on the palate which works well with the same fruits again, little bit of vanilla and sweetness in the background. An energetic wine, racy with an overall pleasing dry minerality which lasts and lasts in the finish.
Color: Light golden yellow Smell: Floral and tropical fruits wth a sea air note Taste: An eclectic mix of tropical fruits like pineapple, star fruit, cherimoya, and durian. Overall: Excellent. Light-medium body, med+ acidity, med+ fruit, and moderate complexity.
