Aging gracefully. Definetly needs air to open. Elegant aromas of damp soil, mushroom and sous bois first emerge.. followed by clean, transparent spice, cola and dried, black cherry nuances. Textured, fine, integrated tannins on the mid-palate. Balanced, driving, acid structure. Enjoyable finish, with a savory, sous bois and caramelized mushroom repeating. A good food wine. Paired well with filet and demi glacé.

This is really starting to come into its own. Pretty high acid but also full mid-palate and very aromatic, showing raspberries and rose petals. Surprisingly tart but in a good way that adds another dimension, but also some grapefruit bitterness. A tiny bit of oak provides a bit more richness. A really nice wine that has many good years ahead. Much better than earlier bottles that weren't nearly as expressive.

I let open in the glass an hour. The longer it was open, the better it improved.

A dark fruit pinot noir. Needs time in the glass to open up. Not my style.

Super juicy and blue. Fun but clipped. An outstanding wine.
