deep red color, quiet nose, red fruits, gravelly mineral notes, on the palate a lovely plum and chocolate fruit lead into a firm structure that is starting to outpace the fruit at this point, still quite good and very enjoyable but drink soon.

Nice ripe raspberry blueberries in a rich warm style. This is all about the awesome fruit flavors. Pure, a bit warm, yet no floosy. Holding up well despite big a lower acid, soft round wine. Drink up to enjoy before moves past prime, yet no crazy rush. A great example of new world merlot done right.

PnP with just some swirling in the glass. Performed as described in my previous notes. Despite a touch of booze on the initial pull, the flavors of plum, black cherry, currant, and some faint chocolate covered cherry showed nicely. Drink now and over the next year or two.

Can’t say I enjoyed much about this bottle. Decanted and triple vinturi’d with over 7 hours to breathe. It was overextracted, heavy and disjointed. Oh well.

Deep and rich, with no signs the luscious fruit is fading or that the wine is growing flabby. Really delicious.
