This wine has bounced all over the lot on me. I had a bottle not 2 months ago and I could have sworn it was shot. Not this bottle. Deep red color with some fading at the edges. Rich nose of black cherry and strawberry. Finely etched fruit, rich strawberry and sharp spice. Fine tannins, beautiful acidity and balance. Finishes spicy and red fruited with some air. Needed a bit of air to shine. Drinking window? I haven't a clue given my last 3 bottles but, based on this bottle I'd have said 3 to 5 years more. I will probably drink my last bottle within the next year.

My last note was Sept 2019 on this wine. I thought then it was fading. I was right. No specific notes necessary now. It's become a shell of what it was, undistinguished but not totally shot. Too bad.

Deep red at the core with slight fading at the rim. Deep, red fruited nose. Lush fruit, cranberries and cherries on the palate, bit of pepper. Sweet, polished tannins, nice acidity, excellent balance. Becomes slightly tart as it moves across the palate. Very long finish of red fruit. Very nice right now, but seems to be at or slightly past peak. Last year I thought these would last another 5 to 6 years. Not if this is any evidence. I would drink these over the next two years. I hope I'm wrong.

Lovely stuff. Deep red fruits and lots of spice on the nose. Dark cherry, strawberry, raspberry fruit on the palate, warm spices. Tannins still firm and need a couple of years yet, great acidity and lovely balance. Finishes a bit hard at this point in its development, but I suspect that will soften in 2 to 3 years. A lovely wine right now with definite upside. I find the Navarro Deep End Blend ages really well. Give it 3 years and will probably drink well for another 3 years after that.

Fully mature red fruit with a touch of prune and raisin. Tasted a touch over the hill.
