Decanted for 1 hour and served with steak. Very nice tertiary characteristics while maintaining plenty of structure. Probably not improving from here but very enjoyable. Tina liked it a lot.

Bit past it's best. Still deep garnet red with a brown edge and clear meniscus. Nose was faint but appealing with red fruit and a hint of leather. Slightly bland, fruit and rounded but not exciting.

4th Saturday Brown Bagger (EBCC): Blind. Light red with significant bricking. An initial bit of sulphur/burnt match blows off to reveal black currants, cherry and tobacco. Medium-bodied with fully-integrated tannins and flavors of red currant and dried herbs. Earthy undertones. This had been double decanted off its sediment about two hours before the flight was poured.

Decanted for an hour at a restaurant so didn’t take formal notes. Tannins fully resolved. Mostly tertiary at this point. Drinking well
