  My last and drinking beautifully now. Has been approachable (and too tempting!) for a number of years and should hold up for a few more.

  Dark stoned and berry fruit with strap, earth and smokey velvety tannins. Dry spice and integrated acid for grip. Concentrated and à point. Excellent and at its peak.

  Colour is still purple with very little evidence of any bricking. This is a beautiful wine with no round edges; just wonderfully relaxing. Great balance, no rush to drink and the feeling that there is more to come. Love it.

  One thing first: I really don´t get, why people don´t write a tasting note, only giving points is so obsolete(also for professional critics). But when you don´t allow comments for communication it is getting comical.
  Great wine, I see no chance that this comes off with 89 points, unless it is flawed, but than it is flawed and no points.

  Ganz da wo und wie man ihn haben möchte. Frucht, Struktur, Säure und die Tannine sind wunderbar ausgeglichen und man möchte immer nochmal nachschenken. Pflaume, violette Blüten, ein Hauch Bitterschokolade und etwas Zeder gemischt mit Zimt, Gewürznelken runden das Bild ab. Der Wein hat Spannung und Konzentration ohne zu süß, anstrengend oder üppig zu sein. Rund und sehr schön, davon kann man nicht genug kriegen. Er ist schon voll da aber für die nächsten 5 Jahre und wahrscheinlich länger sehe ich ihn auf diesem Niveau. Spannend wäre herauszufinden wie er in 10 Jahren da steht.
