From an excellent looking bottle, this wine had very light red rims and a red center. The medium intensity nose offered black cherries and some spice.
In the mouth, this wine medium bodied with nice balance and good length. The tannins were light and round. While this will easily last 10 years or so in the cellar, it is not clear to me it will be getting any better. It has the Burgundy funk we seek. However, my guess is that filtering has striped it of some complexity.
The result is good but not great (and not likely to get much better).
