Aug 2022 out of a flute.👃 stinky socks from last week's soccer game, left in a humidor 👅 lemon zest, pith, mineral, definite lees character as well. Seems like pretty good value and suitable for a sophisticated hen party on a very limited budget. Would not buy again unless the in-laws are in town.

85/86. I prefer the Freixenet Cordon Negro to this. A bit anonymous, fresh, lemony and dry with coarse perlage and shortish length. OK value at 7 Euros. 11.5%.

Bought in a local supermarket at €6.99. Lees aging for 9 months. 11.5% ABV. Citrus, stone fruit, fennel, almond, some toast, and a hint of smoke, with slightly aggressive mousse, medium-level acidity, and average length. Light- to medium-bodied, with average concentration and complexity. The residual sugar of 10 g/l shows on the lightly bitter yet slightly sugary finish. A solid entry-level Cava. Good value.

This is a tasty sparkling wine from Spain.
Light to medium in body with medium plus acidity.
Dry on the palate with a touch of RS.
Showing limes, citrus, green apples, light grapefruits and minerals.
Nicely balanced with medium sized bubbles.
Easy drinking and good for parties. Simple and good by itself.
11.5% alcohol by volume.
88 points.
$10.
