  PnP, consumed over 4 hours. Appearance: Clear to partly cloudy, garnet core with browning at the edges. Nose: Clean, medium+ intensity with developed aromas of clove, earth, leather, tar, tomato leaf and cherry. Palate: Dry, medium+ acid and tannin, medium body and intensity, 14.0% abv with fully developed flavors of tobacco, leather, black olive, earth, and slightly tart black cherry with a long finish. Overall an exceptional wine in it's prime showing exceptional balance, complexity, and length. Drink now or over next 2-4 years.

  Fully mature, drink up. Considerable sediment and light rust in color. Refined delicate but robust taste.

  From memory. Fairly evolved and showed better out of a smaller more narrow glass. Nose of dried cherries and leather. Medium bodied, somewhat rounded mouth, but then a decent return to structure on the finish with fairly polished mature tannins.
