(Pieropan La Rocca) Light golden yellow, with dried-pear, guava, and beeswax aromas, La Rocca offers excellent concentration, a generous midpalate, and a long finish. Wonderfully complex now, it should improve for 12-15 years. Terroir: Soave

No primary fruit left, but remains an adult beverage that goes well with food. There is mineral and a whiff of remaining wood.

Gold colour, needs a bit of air to relax and open up, nicely complex, nose better than palate, mature but can keep. Tastes mineral still and long.

Deep golden. Nose initially of wood and sherry. Mouth, sharp, nutty, wood, sharply drying. Within 5 mins, TCA appears. Oxidised and corked. Dead and deader.
