  Deep red/black colour, no sign of browning on rim. Large nose w oak. dark berries, tobacco, chocolate, touch of mint (sage?). Almost full-bodied w still youthful tannins, plenty acidity, dark fruit (plums). Long aftertaste w alcohol and some bitterness. Overall, the wine gives a dark impression! Will probably not get much better, but will last many more years.

  a touch raisiny on the nose, but not in the taste. Fruit held up and had more of an old world finesse after drinking the '04 Pride Cab Franc

  Drinking very well. Almost no air time. Well blanced, soft mouth feel. but big and bold enough with adequate acid to stand up and pair well with mole sauces. 91-92

  Recompensa para los pacientes. Definitivamente, después de una hora tomando aire, sándalo en nariz. Un aroma complejo: fresas silvestres, ciruelas, dulces, regaliz de palo,...un poco de alcoholen todo caso. En boca menos impresionante, textura un poco acuosa con un final ácido. Para compartir con un rico habano o, como yo hice, con una merluza rebozada. Excelente.

Profundo, complejo, muy bien equilibrado, casi se perciben ciertas insinuaciones de tabaco dulce virginiano, color maduro, aromas a estupendas cerezas y ciruelas en nariz, todo el tiempo sintiendo el terruño...Un vino sin sobre-extractar. Se bebe bien por el solo o acompañando comida, pero el hecho es que no puedes parar...cuanto más bebes, más quieres.
