Cork is stuck in the neck, but am able to pour. Glad I waited about 12 years for this to open up. After a pop and pour, the wine was immediately open knit. Cherries, leather, earth and a mineral spine created tell tale Piedmontese experience. The tannins are noticeable but in the background, and should keep this wine drinking well for several more years to come. The wine looks brick colored. The legs are medium. There is light sediment in the bottle.

Pop and poured two bottles over Memmorial BBQ Tri tip, chicken, and smoked salmon. Went well with food. One dimensional, lack nose, spicy and dry tasting, good mid palate, short after taste, and nice color.
