  Fairly pale ruby, touch of pink on the rim. Fairly dull nose - there is round cherry fruit and plenty of oak spice, but no edge to it. Mouth entry is sweet and soft, but with quite a plug of alcohol on it. Mid-palate has soft cherry fruit, plenty of oak and a touch of earthiness. Finishes quite short and hot. Not too bad, but over-oaked and over-endowed with alcohol.. 2+
