Solid value for $8. Second go around, I've got the same opinion. More than you would expect based on its price, it's a nice, smoky bit of merlot. Plums. Very accessible for those on a lower budget, or just getting started in drinking wine.

Good for $8. Another solid, budget wine from Concha y Toro. Makes a great regular day wine with dinner. A little more complex than others at the same price. Smokey. Some plums.

clear, ruby, beautiful colour. nose: sweety but with some delicate tartness from redcurrants; black pepper; billberries ; even some play. taste: first sip - moss; not bad accidity; later a lot of fruits appear; good visible tannins; chocolate with chilli in the finish. To rib-eye steak in black pepper went really well.

Very smoky - tasted more like a syrah than a merlot. Good with food or without.

Dark fruit, M ripe tannin, a slight hint of stalks. Simple but pleasant
