Sitter svært lenge i. Beveget seg langt siden forrige flaske, men trenger luft om den skal drikkes nå.
A Few Days in Paris; 6/10/2014-6/14/2014 (Various Locations, Paris): Pale. Some sulfur, but then classic lemon/sea breeze mix. Light and lean, tart, juicy lemon zest, great acidity. I would never have picked it out as a 2009 for all of its structure. Very young, extremely promising. I bet it will be even better over the next few days.
Yes, impressive development overnight. The sulfur recedes to reveal brighter orange while retaining terrific acidity and soil.
HDH Raveneau Tasting (MK Restaurant - Chicago, IL): The 2009 Raveneau's are a bit fleshier, but are drinking so well already. No need to hold these (like the 2005/2007/2008s) as they're already drinking incredibly well. Definitely richer than other vintages, but never gummy, slick, or overly sweet. A perfect, young, Raveneau.
