Lovely Chablis, well balanced with the Chardonnay fruit shining through without any strong oak undertones. Not overly complex, but nice touches of lemon/citrus and stone. Good value.

Citrus on the nose. A little harsh upon opening, it smoothed our very nicely over the next few hours. Acidity was pleasant, balanced, and quenching. Rebuy: yes.

Light yellow. Good florality and ripe citrus fruit. Orange carries onto the palate and there may even be some residual sugar, but it does tighten as it goes and shows some minerality. Certainly nowhere near austere or lean. In light of their relative standing, I think I preferred the village Chablis for what it is compared to this Premier Cru.

Chablis, Dom. Laurent, Suduiraut, Madeira (John V.'s): Light, silvery gold. The nose has spice, vanilla and apples. Slight bubbles, Plenty of sulfur which bothered some. Apple slices on the palate. Nice finish.
